Feeding is an important part of medicine packaging. On an automatic blister packaging machine, whether the feeding system is suitable for your product will determine whether the tablets are in good condition before entering the blister. In other words, a good feeding system will increase the product packaging yield. We have designed different feeding systems for diverse types of tablet or capsule products to help you improve production efficiency and save production costs. The following will introduce you to seven of the more common feeding systems.
1. Disk vibrating feeder
The disk vibration feeder is a feeding system with a wide range of applications. The tablets regularly fall into the feeding mold below which is perpendicular to the conveyor belt through the vibration of the disk-shaped medicine bin. We can also place rollers under the feeding mold to adapt to the feeding of special-shaped tablets. Through the combination of direct feeding and cylinder feeding, we can place tablets of different shapes and sizes on the same blister.
2. Disc brush feeder
The disc brush will wear the medicine and aluminum film surface, so the disc brush feeder is mostly used to put the medicine with coating into the aluminum-plastic blister. The medicine falls into the lower medicine bin from the funnel, and then the medicine is put into the blister plate through the continuous movement of the disc brush.
3. Inclined plate roller brush feeder
The inclined plate roller brush feeder is used as the feeding system for oval tablets or other special-shaped tablets. The tablets fall from the medicine bin onto the inclined feeding mold, and they enter the groove on the roller mold during the sliding process through the cooperation of the roller brush and the inclined plate. When the roller rolls, the tablets will fall into the blister plate on the conveyor belt.
4. Roller brush feeder
A roller brush feeder is used to put round tablets into the aluminum-aluminum blister. Tablets in the medicine bin are put into the groove on the mold through the continuous movement of the two roller brushes, and then the tablets are stably placed in the blister plate through the continuous rolling of the roller mold.
5. Disc brush roller feeder
The disc brush roller feeder is used for feeding special-shaped tablets on aluminum-aluminum blisters. The disc brush roller feeder is composed of a disc brush medicine bin at the upper part and a roller transport system at the lower part. To prevent the abrasion of aluminum foil caused by the disc brush, the tablets will be swept into the plastic blister plate by the disc brush first, then sent into the roller mold through the transport belt, and finally put into the aluminum foil through the rotation of the roller mold.
6. Rotary table feeder
The rotary table feeder is also used for feeding special-shaped tablets on aluminum-aluminum blisters. After the tablets are swept into the holes on the lower rotary table by the disc brush, they are put into the blister plate in order.
7. Capsule-turning feeder
The capsule-turning feeder can keep the capsules placed in the blister plate in the same direction. During the movement, the capsules in the roller are adjusted by the dentate mold to keep the same direction.
The above feeding systems have excellent feeding efficiency and are easy to operate, clean, and maintain.
